Deerfield Beach is an escape from our regular work life. People looking for a different type of place to live, that is also safe, Deerfield Beach offers a lot of great qualities for both single people and families. It really does have it’s own community, and I love their restaurants personally.
Here are some reasons to choose Deerfield Beach amongst other South Florida cities:
- Crime rate is fairly low
- They have a great sense of community within the locals of Deerfield
- Has a variety of really good restaurants both on and off the beach
- There are several different newly-renovated parts for both kids and adults
- Most of their establishments are dog friendly, but please call ahead
- Deerfield Beach is along the inter-coastal in South Florida which offers both the beach and the river which is great for boating
- Cost of living is fairly low as compared to other beach towns
- Everything is pretty much a 10 minute drive away
Even though I personally live in Fort Lauderdale, I love to go to the beach and I feel safe in the city of Deerfield Beach Florida. Deerfield Beach has a great number of amenities such as local shops, pharmacies, hospitals, plenty of doctors offices, parks for the kids and the active adults, and what I like most which is the beach which is the Pier in Deerfield Beach. They have recently installed an underwater camera under the Pier which you can look on their website and view all of the fishes and exotic animals that are in the ocean within South Florida.
Being that I know the area and have lived In South Florida for most of my life. Deerfield Beach is really one of those gems, and the city has been investing a lot of their funds to be able to make their communities safer and and taking care of.
